Competition

Time to get your neurons buzzing again.  The second vocabulary competition is now launched!

This week's word is absquatulated.  First, use your deductive skills by trying to work out the meaning of the word in the sentence below.  Next, look up the meaning of the word and write it onto a piece of paper or card.  Then, use the word in a sentence.  Finally, hand the piece of paper to Ms French (don't forget to write your name and class) by 17th September.

Example sentence:
The toddler absquatulated with the piece of chocolate cake, which had been sitting on the plate, and fled across the garden, at speed, chased by his parents.

One winner from each class will receive a class economy bonus.

Congratulations to last week's winners Luke, Fifi and Laiba.

Keep using your deductive skills and the dictionary to expand your vocabulary and grow those neural pathways!
