THANK YOU !

We all enjoyed a visit from Mrs Cynthia Barker who told us all about her experience of being evacuated to Canada during WW2. Mrs Barker is 88 and travelled up from Newcastle for the occasion - we were all very impressed!

National Archives Workshop

Today we were at The National Archives taking part in a workshop on The Greenock Blitz. We used copies of real records to learn about who lived in Greenock at the time it was bombed, why it was targeted and what happened during and after the bombing. It was a really interesting workshop.
