Visit from JGHS staff and pupils

Primary Seven enjoyed hearing more about JGHS from Ms Kerr and former Sciennes pupils, Jessica and Dougal. We had the chance to ask lots of questions.

Luke has made cube boxes, they are representing characters in Natasha's Will.

Football Medal

Daniel is wearing the medal he won playing for the Edinburgh Select Team. He plays in goal and helped his team win the Scottish Schools Inter-Association Sevens Tournament.

Daniel is the third best goalkeeper for his age group in Scotland.

Yesterday Primary 7 held a Victory in Europe party to celebrate the end of our project on World War 2. Lots of the children dressed in period costume for the occasion and brought in food that would have been available during rationing.

We sang war songs, played street games and listened to big band dance music.

The bunting was flying!
